Support Group Hails Strategic Appointments, Reaffirms Commitment to APC's 2027 Presidential Campaign

The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the constitution of the party's leadership structure for the 2027 Presidential Campaign.

The development marks an important step in the APC's preparations for the 2027 presidential election and brings together experienced political leaders to coordinate the party's campaign activities across the country.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will serve as Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council, while Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, will serve as Vice Chairmen.

Former Zamfara State Governor and serving Senator, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has been appointed Director-General of the Campaign Council, while Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State will serve as Secretary.

APSG described the appointments as a strategic move that demonstrates the President's commitment to building a strong, coordinated and inclusive campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

APSG Congratulates Senator Abdulaziz Yari

The support group particularly congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Yari on his appointment as Director-General of the campaign council.

APSG noted that the responsibility requires considerable political experience, organisational capacity and grassroots mobilisation, expressing confidence that Senator Yari will bring his wealth of political experience to the assignment.

The group also congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, Governor Hope Uzodimma and all other party leaders appointed to various positions within the campaign structure.

A Call for Unity and Grassroots Mobilisation

According to APSG, the strength of the APC's 2027 campaign will depend not only on its leadership structure but also on the ability of party members and support groups across the country to work together toward a common objective.

The group therefore called on APC members, supporters and allied support organisations to remain united, disciplined and committed to communicating the administration's programmes and achievements to Nigerians.

APSG further stated that support groups have an important role to play in grassroots mobilisation, public enlightenment and constructive engagement with citizens.

Renewed Hope and 2027

The APC Progressive Support Group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima and to promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The group expressed optimism that the newly constituted campaign leadership will provide effective coordination as the APC moves toward the 2027 presidential election.

APSG also called on Nigerians to continue to engage with the administration's policies and programmes while urging party supporters to remain peaceful and focused throughout the political process.

The group wished all members of the newly constituted campaign leadership wisdom, strength and success as they undertake their respective responsibilities.
