1 Day to Go: Tomorrow, We Celebrate 60 Years of Grace, Leadership, Service and Legacy

The moment is almost here.

After a week-long journey through memories, family, leadership, service, relationships and impact, the APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) has reached the final day of its special countdown to the Diamond Jubilee of its esteemed Global Grand Matron, Otunba Yeye Mofin Modupe Okenla.

Tomorrow, Thursday, 13th August 2026, she will attain the remarkable milestone of 60 years.

A Journey That Began in Aba

Otunba Yeye Mofin Modupe Okenla was born in Aba on 13 August 1966 to Titilola Olayinka Jones of Ijebu Ode and Daniel Ernst Hobart Jones of Hamburg.

From those beginnings emerged a life that would span six decades and touch different spheres of family, community, leadership and service.

Her journey is a reminder that every remarkable life is built one chapter at a time.

Six Decades of Memories

The past seven days of this countdown have provided an opportunity to revisit different dimensions of her story.

We have reflected on her early years, family roots and values. We have celebrated her development as a woman, mother, mentor and leader. We have highlighted her relationship with APSG and CWDI and reflected on the impact of her service and engagement with others.

The photographs shared throughout this countdown have also provided glimpses into the many chapters of her life.

Together, they tell a story of a woman who has experienced different seasons of life while continuing to build relationships and contribute to the lives of others.

A Diamond Jubilee

Sixty years is more than a number.

It represents six decades of experiences, lessons, relationships, memories, challenges, achievements and opportunities to make an impact.

That is why this Diamond Jubilee is not simply a birthday celebration. It is an opportunity for family, friends, colleagues, associates and members of the APSG and CWDI family to pause and say:

Thank you for the journey.

Thank you for the memories.
