Vineyard CDA Begins 2026 Street Grading Project to Improve Community Roads
Community development remains one of the strongest pillars for grassroots progress, and the Vineyard Community Development Association (CDA) has once again demonstrated this through the commencement of its 2026 Zone/Street Grading Project.
Guided by the philosophy “Self Help, Best Help, Surest Help,” the CDA leadership under Chairman John Adegoke has initiated the grading and rehabilitation of several streets within the community.
The streets currently benefiting from this initiative include Cannan Avenue, Unique Close, Samson Oyeneye Street, Olufemi Bankole Street, and White Street.
For many residents, this project represents more than road repairs. It symbolizes unity, commitment, and collective responsibility toward building a better environment for everyone.
Poor road conditions have long posed challenges to transportation, access to homes, and business activities in the area. With the grading work now underway, residents are beginning to see improvements that will make daily life easier.
On behalf of Tylvisuals Media and community residents, we commend the Vineyard CDA Chairman Mr. John Adegoke and the entire executive team for their proactive leadership and dedication to community growth.
Recognition must also be given to the contractor Mr John Oki Olowolayemo (Plant Hiring Services) for supporting the project with the necessary equipment and expertise.
However, while community self-help initiatives are commendable, sustainable development requires collaboration with government authorities.
We therefore call on the Ogun State Government and the Obafemi Owode Local Government Chairman to support the Lotto and Pakuro communities with:
*Proper road construction and repairs
*Drainage and gutter development
*Reliable electricity supply.
Government support will significantly complement the efforts already being made by community leaders and residents.
The Vineyard CDA project stands as a strong reminder that community development begins with collective action.
