*Reasons why there has been epileptic power supply in recent days*

1. FG and GenCos had an agreement that the GenCos must provide free prepaid meters to all Nigerians when FG selling NEPA to them in the year 2013.

2. GenCos said electricity bills will be high as a result of the free prepaid meters but FG interveined by promising to be paying subsidy.

3. GenCos claimed that Good luck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari didn't pay any subsidy throughout their tenures.

4. Tinubu had a meeting with them (GenCos )in the year 2025 and asked them. What can they do, so that Nigerians will enjoy steady power supply.

5. GenCos claimed that the FG is owning them subsidy, amounting to N6.8 trillion.

6. Tinubu brought in financial expert to audit the said amount.

7. The auditors came out with a revelation that accrued subsidy is just N2.5 trillion and not N6.8 trillion.

8. Before the end of the year 2025 Tinubu paid them (GenCos)a sum of N500 billion and also early in the year 2026 he also paid them the sum of N600billion with an instruction that *Every Home Must be Given a Free Prepaid Meter*

9. Instead of the GenCos to improve power supply to Nigerian Homes, they have decided to sabotage government's effort by reducing the power supply. Their claim is that "they don't have money to buy enough gas to supply power" (after collecting N1.1 trillion)

10. Now, the anti-government people are now circulating a video where Tinubu promised to give steady power supply otherwise Nigerians shouldn't vote for him for a second term.

*My Question:* Is Tinubu Government not trying his best by paying the accrued debt since 2013 so that power supply can improve? 

*Now it is very clear that the cabals in the power sectors are more than those that use to be in the oil section*

GenCos are the ones that have been exploiting Nigerians.
