The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) & CWDI Welcome President Tinubu, Celebrate Governor Dapo Abiodun’s Landmark Achievement
The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) and Confident Women Development Initiative (CWDI) have jointly extended a warm welcome to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his visit to Ogun State for the official commissioning of the Gateway International Airport in Iperu.
This historic event marks a significant milestone in the infrastructural and economic development of Ogun State. The groups also used the opportunity to congratulate the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Dapo Abiodun, for successfully delivering the project. The airport is expected to boost trade, tourism, and industrial growth while positioning the state as a key aviation hub in Nigeria.
Speaking through its leadership, including Director General Iya’Afin Oluwafunmilayo Adejoke Ogunba Koleowo, Grand Global Matron Otunba Yeye Modupe Okenla, and Grand Patron Barrister Dele Okenla, the organizations reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda. They emphasized their confidence in his leadership and expressed readiness to support his vision for a prosperous Nigeria, including his second-term ambition.
The groups also declared their strong backing for Governor Dapo Abiodun’s political aspirations ahead of the 2027 senatorial elections, noting his track record of impactful governance and commitment to development.
Furthermore,The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) & CWDI urged all members, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora, to take their civic responsibilities seriously by updating their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and preparing to actively participate in upcoming elections. According to them, active participation in the democratic process is essential to sustaining good governance and national development.
